EIA says ethanol production down, production slips under 10%

According to EIA data, ethanol production averaged 896,000 barrels per day, or 37.63 million gallons daily. That is down 26,000 barrels per day from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 898,000 barrels per day for an annualized rate of 13.77 billion gallons. Imports of ethanol were up from last week at 38,000 barrels per day. Daily ethanol production, as a percentage of daily gasoline emend, was 9.96%.
