May 13, 2014 |

In the UK, the City of Surrey has selected three teams to move on to the next stage of competitive selection for the Surrey Biofuel Processing Facility project. When operational, the closed-loop fully-integrated organic waste management system will convert residential kitchen and yard waste into renewable fuel for the city’s natural gas waste trucks. The three teams invited to participate in the Request for Proposals (RFP) are Iris Solutions, Plenary Harvest Surrey, and Urbaser S.A.
