Brazilian sugar mills continue to focus heavily on ethanol production

In Brazil, sugar mills processed 57.5% of cane into ethanol during the first half of May, up from 56.3% during the same period in 2013. Using hydrous ethanol has become economically beneficial in the Sao Paolo area during the past two weeks, which indicates demand should increase as mills continue to focus on ethanol production.
