SCD-iBIO to develop best practices, performance standards for industrial biotech

In Washington, SCD-iBIO (the Society for the Commercial Development of Industrial Biotechnology) is seeking industry professionals who are interested in helping to develop standardized nomenclature and definitions of terms, recommended practices, guides, test methods, specifications, and performance standards for industrial biotechnology. A subsidiary of SOCMA (the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates), SCD-iBIO strives to provide open and intimate forums for discussion of opportunities and trends that represent the full value chain from raw material suppliers to consumer brand companies.
