Biofuels Digest Index gains to 78.74 as chemicals recover

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.80 percent to 78.74 as chemicals recovered.  For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) rebounded 15.16 percent to $0.50, while BioAmber (BIOA) tumbled 4.98 percent to $10.49.  Among other equities, Kior (KIOR) tanked 11.99 percent to $0.26.  Overall, advances led declines 5 to 3 for the day.
