PUMP debuts Sept. 19 in NY and LA. Elon Musk, Jason Bateman, Lula head a star-studded documentary on energy choice
This Friday, a new movie debuts — billed “the movie that will change your attitude about fuel forever” — and specifically, about ending oil addiction
It’s PUMP — an eye-opener directed by Josh Tickell (director of the Sundance-honored FUEL) and narrated by Jason Bateman. Featuring a host of personalities such as former Brazilian president Luiz Incio Lula da Silva; John Hofmeister, former President of Shell Oil; Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors; Peter Goldmark, former president of the Rockefeller Foundation; and many more.
It focuses on solutions through competition — for flex-fuel cars running on alcohol or drop-in fuels, electrics, natural gas based vehicles and more.
You can catch the trailer here. Lula, Or find a set of screening locations here.
One note from The Digest on your attending plans. If you plan to see PUMP, see it soon. Big crowds at openings lead to bigger distribution — so, you can help spread the word, and munch some popcorn, all at the same time
