Biofuels Digest Index drops to 76.78 as ethanol equities continue to fall

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.35 percent to 76.78 as ethanol equities continued to fall. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dipped 1.31 percent to $16.61, while Green Plains (GPRE) dumped 3.40 percent to $38.04. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) plunged 14.70 percent to $0.35. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
