September 22, 2014 |

In the Bahamas, SGI Holdings is re-floating a $150 million plan for a 272MW floating power station that would supply energy to the islands from biodiesel, CNG, or a blend of the two. The power would supply a new $3.5 billion resort coming online in the spring and could be up and running 180 days from close. The peak price for the power provided by the project would be 28 cents per kwh.
