Vireol produced 11.5 million gallons since re-start in April

In Virginia, the Vireol ethanol plant in Hopewell held its inauguration even though production began in mid-April and has produced 11.5 million gallons so far from 4.6 billion bushels of corn. Of the total, 3 billion bushels came from Virginia. The company says it is pleased to have decided to keep the facility in Virginia rather than exporting it to the UK as originally planned.
