Dakota Spirit AgEnergy gets $1 million USDA rural development loan

In North Dakota, as part of a $5.7 million rural development loan package, the USDA has granted a $1 million loan to Northern Plains Electric Cooperative to partly finance the Dakota Spirit AgEnergy ethanol plant currently being built in Spiritwood. Of the five loans, the one to NPEC was the only project related to bioenergy.
