November 11, 2014 |

In Mississippi, Ergon BioFuels announced plans to restart the ethanol facility in Vicksburg, Mississippi, beginning May 2015. With nearly 60-million gallons of annual production capacity, Ergon BioFuels is one of the largest ethanol producers in the southeastern United States. Upon restart, the facility will purchase feedstock from local suppliers, providing substantial new market opportunities for the region. The plant will also add approximately thirty new high paying jobs to a community Ergon has operated in for decades.
