Pemex to open supply purchase call on Nov. 14 for 2.2 billion liters of ethanol

In Mexico, Pemex is finally going to market with the new call for bids for up to 2.2 billion liters of ethanol set for Nov. 14. The supply contracts will be split into eight different 10-year agreements with a minimum of 78.1 million liters to a maximum of 493.9 million liters. The final deadline for proposal is Dec. 15 with supplies expected for delivery in between 12-36 months after signing the contracts. The country is piloting a blending mandate of 5.8% ethanol.
