Biofuels Digest Index drops to 64.73 as ethanol dips

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, lost 1.36 percent to 64.73 as ethanol equities dipped. For the day, Green Plains (GPRE) lost 6.76 percent to $26.60, while Aemetis (AMTX) lost 5.01 percent to $4.36. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) plunged 9.34 percent to $2.33. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
