Ethanol production slips from recent highs

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency says ethanol production fell to 962,000 b/d last week, down 20,000 b/d from the record set the week before. Ethanol stocks rose in three of five regions, with West Coast and Gulf Coast stocks slipping further. The ethanol blend remains below the 10% “blend wall” at 9.34%.
