URC receives accreditation to supply ethanol in the Philippines

January 7, 2015 |

In the Philippines, Universal Robina Corp. received its accreditation on Tuesday allowing it to supply ethanol. The company defaulted on nearly 10,000 cubic meters of planned deliveries during the past two quarters because of the delay, but will now be able to deliver the 6,800 cubic meters planned for Q1. The accreditation is required to supply ethanol and is only granted if the fuel meets national standards. The company was only able to finally supply a sample in December.
