ADM’s CCS project hailed a success after storing 1 million tons of carbon

In Illinois, ADM’s carbon capture and storage project co-located at its ethanol plant in Decatur has successful stored 1 million metric tons of carbon since coming online in November 2011. So far the carbon has showed no signs of moving upward. ADM is getting ready to drill a second demonstration project that will stores 1.1 million tons per year during five years.
