Malaysian palm oil prices sink to five-week low on falling biodiesel demand

In Malaysia, palm oil prices have fallen to their lowest in five weeks as demand for biofuel drops, weighing on feedstock prices. Concerns about lower production volume due to floods have receded, and even though production is expected to be down again in February, it doesn’t compensate for the lack of demand. January exports were seen down between 17% and 19%.
