Copa-Cogeca calling on EU member states to support biofuels

In Germany, Copa-Cogeca is calling for EU agriculture ministers and MEPs to fight the European Commission for a higher use of crop-based biofuels following the extensive investment made into the fuels following the EU’s policy to demand 10% blending by 2020. The organization rejects the studies used to establish ILUC penalties, saying they’re based on data errors and methodical problems.
