Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 61.30 as ethanol equities gain

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 2.23 percent to 61.30 as ethanol equities gained. For the day, Abengoa (ABGB) rebounded 4.90 percent to $15.40, while Green Plains (GPRE) soared 7.52 percent to $25.17. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) was up 5.43 percent to $2.33. Overall, advances led declines 13 to 3 for the day.
