Spiritwood gets stopgap funding to support automated switch for rail loop

In North Dakota, Spiritwood has secured another $400,000 for its $1.3 million automated switch so the rail loop so it can connect with the main BNSF line. The Stutsman County Commission granted the loan out of the county’s revolving loan fund. The deadline to pay the entire amount is March 31.
