EU biofuels policy not negatively impacting Ireland’s animal feed market

In Ireland, the country’s agriculture minister says that EU biofuel policies have no impact on national animal feed prices because cereals markets are global. The country imports 3 million metric tons of animal feed out of a total 4.7 million tons, most of which comes from North and South America, biofuel byproducts themselves.
