Louis Dreyfus exports 280,000 barrels of ethanol to UAE from New York

In New York, Louis Dreyfus is shipping 280,000 barrels of ethanol worth $17 million to Jebel Ali in the UAE from the Port of New York where the fuel will be blended into gasoline for Iraq. Ethanol has at last returned to a discount against gasoline, opening up a trading window that allowed for double the US monthly export volume all in one operation.
