Port of Alexandria to invest up to $12 million to welcome Cool Planet

In Georgia, the Port of Alexandria is undergoing $6.4 million worth of upgrades to make way for the new Cool Planet facility that is planned for the area. The port’s board of commissioners approved another $1.8 million in infrastructure investments on Wednesday to further support the project. Total port infrastructure investment to support the project is expected to reach up to $12 million.
