Oil industry sues Oregon in US District Court for signing LCFS

In Oregon, the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, the American Trucking Associations and the Consumer Energy Alliance all say the newly signed Low Carbon Fuel Standard is unconstitutional, claiming it discriminates against out-of-state fuels in exchange for promoting in-state biofuels. The three filed suit on Monday in U.S. District Court in Portland in hopes of blocking the law.
