Falling hydrous ethanol prices cut SE Brazil gasoline parity to 65.7%

In Brazil, hydrous ethanol’s parity with gasoline in the country’s southeast reached 65.7% last week, the lowest in four months. Ample supplies ahead of the new sugarcane crush have weighed on prices since November, though they began recovering last week. Demand is expected to increase while hydrous remains below the 70% parity mark with gasoline.
