1de6bd7Tell us about your company and it’s role in the Advanced Bioeconomy.

My lab is “laboratory of engineering of biosystems and bio process” in Toulouse France .inside a scool of engineer :INSA Our lab is recognized By CNRS and INRA. I built this lab now with a staff of 350 persons. This lab is focused on bioprocess from the Gene to the process by the microorgaznisms and enzymes as biocatalysts.

Tell us about your role and what you are focused on in the next 12 months.

Cheap substrates, gaz fermentation CO2 as substrate, Microbial lipids

What do you feel are the most important milestones the industry must achieve in the next 5 years?  

Cheap source of fermentescible carbon

Fair regulations for biomass

If you could snap your fingers and change one thing about the Advanced Bioeconomy, what would you change? 

reluctance of ecologists and considering biomass fairly and holisticaly

Of all the reasons that influenced you to join the Advanced Bioeconomy industry, what single reason stands out for you as still being compelling and important to you?  

There is 35 years that i where involved it was not a fashion I do not change now.
