UK biodiesel consumption up 25% in 2014 but ethanol falls nearly 1%

In the UK, the Department of Energy and Climate Change says that biodiesel accounted for 3.4% of diesel consumption in 2014, with ethanol accounting for 4.6% of gasoline, according to its provisional reporting. A total of 466.79 million gallons of biofuels were consumed, up 11.5% on the year. Biodiesel consumption rose 25% but ethanol consumption fell slightly by 0.9%.
