AgEnergy USA teams with Perdue Farms on poultry waste-to-energy project

In Maryland, AgEnergy USA has teamed with Perdue Farms to develop the Clean Bay Biogas Project, which will produce energy from up to 200,000 tons of poultry waste annually.  The project is expect to reduce the state’s Watershed Implementation Plan expenditure by at least $5 billion by removing nitrogen and phosphorous from flowing into the Chesapeake Bay.
