Biofuels Digest Index falls to 68.06 as chemicals tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 0.84 percent to 68.06 as chemicals tumbled. For the day, Syngenta (SYT) lost 3.36 percent to $67.04, while Codexis (CDXS) was down 4.78 percent to $4.38. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) recovered 9.61 percent to $2.51. Overall, declines led advances by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
