Ethanol production down from last week, stays above 10% of gasoline demand

In the US, ethanol production averaged 921,000 barrels per day (b/d), 38.68 million gallons daily, down 9,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 928,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 14.23 billion gallons.

Gasoline demand for the week averaged 374.6 million gallons daily. Refiner/blender input of ethanol averaged 875,000 b/d. Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 10.33%.

Stocks declined 2.6% from last week to 20.8 million barrels
