Indonesia’s president signs palm product export levies into law

In Indonesia, the president has signed into law the rule that would see exporters pay $30 per metric ton for processed palm oil product shipments and $50 for crude palm oil, with proceeds going to pay for subsidizing higher blending of the fuel. The levy should be in place by the third week of May.
