Lack of ethanol demand weighing on corn prices

In Illinois, corn prices continue to weaken in large part because of expectations that demand from ethanol producers will be lower. A strong dollar means more ethanol imports and fewer exports while the blend wall has domestic demand fairly stagnant. Expectations of another bumper crop are also weighing down prices.
