Deadline looms for Renewable Chemistry Start-Up Award applications

In the EU, this is the last week for applications in the a Renewable Chemistry Start-Up Award sponsored by Sofinnova Partners and supported by Sustainability Consult. The deadline for applications is 30 May and online voting for the best five companies will end on 5 July.  A jury of industry experts will select the winner on 20 July at the BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology in Montreal, Canada.

Eligible start-ups must have revenues of less than $5M, be active in renewable chemistry, industrial biotechnology or renewable fuels, have an ambitious plan with unique technology characteristics — and Sofinnova Partners’ portfolio companies are not eligible to participate
