Cassava farmer trial in Cambodia successful enough to move to phase 2

In Cambodia, the first farmer trial for a cassava-based ethanol project has ended successfully with 100 farmers participating. Currently production is based on 100ha with the next phase scaling up to 2,000 ha but a commercial facility will require feedstock from 15,000 ha. The company previously announced it expects to produce 200 million liters annually by 2020.
