More about BioChannel.TV and Faces

Online readers are becoming online viewers — as bandwidth improves, it’s possible to effectively distribute video-based programming via the internet. At the same time, readers continue to demonstrate strong interest in a more entertaining, more robust kind of coverage than a written news item can provide — with fun visuals, original music, and thoughtful guests. Hence BioChannel.TV.

Readers are busy and we are a “Digest” based in brevity after all, so individual Faces episodes are short — typical run time will be 5-8 minutes each. We’ll introduce viewers to business leaders, technologists, financiers, policy leaders in the advanced bioeconomy, and background on their respective organizations.

Two more programs to debut this year

Later in the year, we’ll debut another original series: “Places”, a documentary-style program that takes you inside the labs and project sites of the Advanced Bioeconomy, around the globe.

Meanwhile, The New Voices, a lively talk show on the technologies, strategies, companies, people and news in the Advanced Bioeconomy to sort out “what is hype, what is real” — has released three episodes to date featuring regular cast members Oberon Fuels president Rebecca Boudreaux, Aemetis CEO Eric McAfee and Bloomberg New Energy Finance’s Claire Curry. Nexant’s Ron Cascone appears as a guest in two episodes, and DuPont’s Jan Konickx in another.
