Indonesian giant to invest $37.4 million for biodiesel production

In Indonesia, Sungai Budi plans to invest $22.4 million in expanding palm oil plantations and $15 million in a biodiesel plant using the oil this year. The biodiesel plant could eventually produce up to 35% of the company’s revenues. Other investments this year include a sugar mill and a starch plant.
