Egypt signs used cooking oil protocol to support biodiesel program

In Egypt, the Minister of Supply has signed a protocol for recycled cooking oil to be collected from citizens in exchange for points that can be traded for free food. The oil will then be delivered to the Alexandria Company for Petroleum Additives who will process it into biodiesel. The plan scales up a trial project in December in Port Said that was deemed successful.
