Philippines relaxes E10 on premium gas due to low domestic ethanol production

In the Philippines, the Department of Energy has decided to relax the requirement for 10% ethanol blending in premium 97 octane gasoline in an effort to reduce ethanol import demand following the lack of local production. The circular dated June 9 makes the move temporary until the local supply situation can be resolved.
