Biofuels Digest Index reaches 63.57 as ethanol equities advance

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.41 percent to 63.57 as ethanol equities advanced. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) was up 1.39 percent to $9.48, while Ceres (CERE) bounded up 4.42 percent to $1.89. Among other equities, Metabolix (MBLX) retreated 6.76 percent to $3.45. Overall, advances led declines by a 9 to 7 ratio for the day.
