Iowa city approves rail easement for planned ethanol modal station

In Iowa, the Le Mars city council has approved a rail easement agreement and a $300,000 loan towards building a rail spur for a proposed $3.1 million ethanol transfer facility. The plans include 300,000 gallons of storage and transfer equipment to allow the transfer of ethanol from one mode of transport to another.
