Digest Bioeconomy Index gains to 58.12 as advanced bio surges

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 0.40 percent to 58.12 as advanced bio surged on a Codexis advance. For the day, Abengoa shed 22.58 percent to $6.00 after a large equity dilution earlier in the week, while Codexis (CDXS) soared 28.35 percent to $4.12.  Among other equities, BioAmber (BIOA) rose 5.39 percent to $7.43. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
