Bloom Energy, Constellation to develop 40MW in fuel cell projects

August 16, 2015 |

In California, Bloom Energy and Exelon’s competitive energy business Constellation announced the development of 40 megawatts of fuel cell projects for commercial customers, including Walmart, AT&T and the City of Harford, Conn.

The agreement builds on Exelon’s 2014 investment in 21 megawatts of Bloom projects and supports the growth of Constellation’s distributed energy business, which currently has more than 300 MW of assets in operation or under development. The agreement also underscores the growing customer demand for distributed energy solutions to manage operating costs and achieve sustainability goals.
