Brazilian biodiesel auction sells 696.8 million liters with 100% holding a social seal

In Brazil, ANP’s 44th biodiesel auction sold 696.8 million liters of the fuel with 100% having the social seal associated with the supply chain. The average price for the fuel was BRL2.162 per liter, just under 18% below the reference price for the auction. The first day of the auction on Aug. 8 saw 850.7 million liters offered with 99.7%. The fuel purchased during the auction will be marketing during September and October to fulfill the country’s B7 policy.
