EU puts UPM NER300 biofuel project on reserve list and drops Stora Enso and Neste’s all together

In Finland, Stora Enso and Neste Oil’s NER300 biodiesel demonstration project has been put on hold after the European Commission pulled funding. At first, three projects were expected for EU funding in Finland but in the end only one will be funded and Vapo Ajos was the winner. UPM’s planned project was supported by France and has therefore been put on the reserve list in case of additional funding availability but the Stora Enso and Neste Oil projects were dropped all together.
