Indonesia to begin paying subsidies from levy to support B15

In Indonesia, with more than $70 million collected to date, the Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund is preparing for its first disbursement of funds. Pertamina bought 10 million liters of biodiesel as of Aug. 31 to supply the B15 mandate, so the fund will pay it 18 cents per liter from the fund. The company has agreed to buy 339 million liters of CPO from distributor AKR Corporindo between Aug. 17 and Oct. 31 and another 426 million liters for the period through the rest of the year.
