Digest Bioeconomy Index, falls 0.84 percent to 49.79 as chemical equities tumble

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, fell 0.84 percent to 49.79 as chemical equities tumbled. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) dumped 7.85 percent to $1.41, while Gevo (GEVO) shed 6.30 percent to $1.86.  Among other equities, BioAmber (BIOA) lost 5.85 percent to $5.31.  Overall, declines led advances 9 to 5 for the day.
