Digest Bioeconomy Index jumps 3.51 percent to 52.14 as ethanol and advanced bio rally

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, bounded up 3.51 percent to 52.14 as ethanol and advanced bio rallied strongly. For the day, BioAmber (BIOA) soared 23.00 percent to $6.31, while Green Plains (GPRE) gained 8.46 percent to $20.78.  Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) jumped 5.72 percent to $8.69.  Overall, advances led declines 6 to 1 for the day.
