In India, the State Road Transport Corporation in Karnataka will run on between 20% and 100% biodiesel, starting with 10 vehicles now and expanding to the entire fleet over the next four months. The national government approved the higher biodiesel blends for transport on August 10, making Karnataka’s public bus fleet the first to switch over to higher blends following the policy announcement.
