October 8, 2015 |

In Washington, the RFA says ethanol exports in August fell to the lowest level seen in two years at just 27.1 million gallons, down 35% from July. Of the total exports, 43% went to Canada, followed by Tunisia who imported 25%. China, Mexico, the Philippines and South Korea imported much of the rest. With the Brazil arbitrage window nearly closed, only 1.7 million gallons of ethanol went to the country in August, compared with more than 25 million gallons in March during the height of the inter-crop season.
