The Policy Element of the Florida Transportation Plan to release on Oct 15

In Florida, the Florida Department of Transportation is updating the Florida Transportation Plan, the statewide long-range transportation plan for all of Florida and a policy plan identifying policies for planning and implementing Florida’s Strategic Intermodal System, the statewide high-priority network of transportation facilities critical to Florida’s economic competitiveness.

The Clean Fuels Coalition advises: “Three elements are contained in the FTP: the Vision Element, the Policy Element, and an Implementation Element with specific defined actions for the short and medium term which will be developed in 2016.”

You can learn more about the content of the FTP Policy Element at a free webinar. Following a review of the draft, time for questions from participants will be offered. Information on how you can submit additional comments during the Public and Partner Review Period will also be presented. . Comments will be accepted through November 14.
